"Look where you lost," they softly speak,
Yet, where's the place? It's answers I seek.
What do I look for in this vast mist,
My soul, my love, or our shared gist?
How do I know where to set my gaze,
In the puzzle of time, lost in its maze?
Shall I rewind to that first date so sweet,
When your lips stole my heart, love's first heartbeat?
Or perhaps the 20th date, a milestone so grand,
Where I surrendered it all, at your command.
Heart, mind, and soul, given without a plea,
When you asked permission, unlocking love's key.
Or is it the last 365 days that hold the clue,
When I lost not just you, but myself too?
In the calendar of loss, where do I start,
To find the fragments of us, scattered apart?
Look where I lost, they gently say,
But what do I look for in this disarray?
My soul, my love, or the image of us,
Lost in time, a heartfelt fuss.
