What do you want for your birthday?!

Birthdays are so stressful! I mean, you are expected to be nice to people, talk to people because Facebook asked them to wish you, tell them your age, give a birthday treat even when you are broke, share your cake, reply to each and every message on social media.... Aaah! This is so much pain.

Like icing on cake there is one important question the nation wants to know "so, what are your plans? What are you doing?". 🥺🥺🥺🥺 This question makes me cry! Like, my birthday is just like another day, I wake up, eat, work and repeat. So don't ask me the question because it makes me repent my 0 social life 😕

Here is another question that equally irritates me "so, what do you want for your birthday?" Why did you ask this question? I never have anything on mind, and what if you can't give what I want? 😅

Here's a funny incident that happened a couple of years ago -

** I am copying this from an old FB post**

With my birthday around the corner, my sister wants to know what I want for a gift. Being the -I-don't-want-anything-but-surprise-me person, I have been acting like I want nothing. The same happened today and my sister asked me again and this time her question was a warning Nikki: This is the last time, do you want a shirt? Me: No, I have so many new clothes and most of them still have their tags on. Nikki: Make-up? Me: No, we already have so many products... Nikki: Shall I treat you? Me: But I don't want you to burn your pockets... Nikki: Nautanki! Don't feel bad if I don't get you anything. Me: But I will 😠 Nikki: So tell me what you want Me: I don't know. I already have everything... Nikki: Last chance! Me: Ok make me 18 again! Hope she doesn't bring back my exes 🤕

Moral of the story - never ask what I want!

P.S. I love gifts so send me something nice but don't ask me what I want. If you know me, you'd know what I like 😉 after all, I am as straight as ramen 😛
