Hey dear readers, so sorry for the late update but what to do? I was dipping in the glory of my recent travel/achievement! Well, I travelled alone from Hyderabad to Chandighar! We’ll I feel a lot of frowns there so let me tell you, my mom dropped me at the airport and #Indigo took care of the other things. I also have a close friend working for #AirIndia @Hyderabad airport, so things were kind of easy.
Now, let me brag about my brave feat! I went all alone to Chandighar and the only money in my pocket was 8K! I did tell the staff about my birthday as I wanted better treatment and it actually worked! The two hour flight seemed a bit tiring as I woke up at 5 in the morning that day (beauty ritual I say)! But all the sleep and the feeling of being tired vanished when I saw Shyam waiting for me at the airport. Shyam… my amazing big ball of strength <3 let me now boast a bit about this amazing guy.
This beautiful soul drove his car all the way from Jodhpur, Rajasthan… that’s 24 hours on road to pick me up at the airport and continued to drive another 10 hours so we reached Manali on time. He was so tired but he never let out a sigh!

It was almost 12.30 AM by the time we checked into the today. Shyam managed to buy a Belgium chocolate cake for me (it was meant to be a surprise but I’ve got scanner eyes :D) so we cut the cake and went to bed right after. The next day, we woke up to the eye-conic snow-drenched Manali and it made me so so happy! Snowfall on my birthday and it was happening right outside my window. We didn’t step out that day but spent some time on the swing and the garden around. I got to live in the moment, basking in the beauty with the mighty mountains wrapped in a thick white duvet of snow.
The next day, we reached Solang Valley – the Himachali hub for everything snow. This was a herculean task I say. First we had we lie to the police and then going through the snow-occupied roads and the steps… but why worry when I have my personal superman :D Shyam, who doesn’t accept failure, took me all the way into the snow, onto the steps and we had a wonderful day in the snow. The third day was all about temples and being together, getting to know and spending time together.
The next day, we started off to Jaipur via Delhi. My flight was scheduled at 6.00 PM. I reached Hyderabad by 8.00 PM and reached home by 9.45 PM. I wanted to surprise my parents by getting back home safe and sound, in one piece. This way the tricky part! I was scared owning to the growing crime rates in the city so I managed to book a cab from a reputed company and then managed to trick the driver saying that someone from the police department was tracking my ride (hope he was tricked). Thank god that the driver was a good one and my entire journey was so good.
Final thoughts: I’ve returned home more empowered, happy to have lived in snow, satisfied with my achievement and grateful to have “the world’s best soul” at my side plus one dream off my bucket list plus one new destination (Finland baby).

So after this amazing journey, I wish to tell all the girls out there that if you have a dream, just pursue it! Don’t give fucks to LOG because all they can do is talk rubbish. If I had to listen to them, I should not have been beautiful coz ”tch tch beta itni sundar hoke wheelchair pe ho (you are so beautiful and you are still on a wheelchair).”
There were a lot of people who tried to question my going to Manali but my real friends were happy for me coz I was able to do things that I wanted to and that is all that matters.

Super..,.....beti
