Best Compliment Ever!

I’ve been super busy last week and then, I posted a video on my last blog and got some amazing responses. I did get some beautiful compliments on my previous posts but on Sunday, someone caught me by my collar and flung me high into the skies… it is still my “Aaj me upar, aasman neeche” moment.

So I was working like the good pani pilla. My stomach was having a HAVAN since a week and I wanted to get some sleep but an impending deadline kept me awake. I was aiming to shut my laptop by 5pm and get some sleep but Sai Priya walked in and asked if I was free.

Sahithi Akka, free na? ice cream at 8 terrace ok na? (are you free? Shall we go up and have ice cream today?)

She went on to tell me that she read one of my blogs and read that I wanted to have BDC under the stars.

It was so overwhelming and I jumped in happiness.

Sai Priya and Dheeraj have been my neighbours for almost 18 years now and with time, we grew up like a family. Not just Sai Priya and Dheeraj, aunty is my mom’s best friend and uncle is someone we all look up to. So we have been quite close. She read my blog and she did not just read it but she actually understood it and gave me what I wanted.

Now, coming to our ice cream party, we ordered from cream stone and were waiting for the life but then there was a power cut and the inverter failed too. We sat there for five minutes and the power was back. So we went up and walked on to an empty terrace, dark and chilly. It was around 9 so I expected a star lit sky but I looked up to find a dark blanket with zero stars.

Finally, Chai Piya and Dillu thank you
