And my vote goes for...

So my dad was watching some local news and enjoying the way the heir from the ruling party spoke about the other two parties running for the elections. The last week had been fun with all the three parties trying to demonstrate their best to win votes. It did put me under a lot of pressure, who do it vote for? Voting was becoming so important… without voting, I wouldn’t be able to post a selfie with ink on my hand; and no selfie = no responsibility! So it is important to vote right!
I tried to imagine the polling booth. It is in the lane beside our apartment, I could have walked to it if I could but again, I would never have gone to vote if I could walk! So the first face I would find at the booth would be of a batchmate from school! He’s into politics now, we lived in the same apartment for a few years now, but now, he visits on the day of elections. Last time I went in, I remember going inside and voting for the ruling parties (state and national). But I am not sure this time….
Every time we vote, some people expect that the political party would come and do some good. I always knew politics was corrupt and I never expected them to be true but yeah, I just expected a party that was ready to spend at least 1/4th of what it ate! Now, I don’t think any of the parties can do it!
There was a time when I really liked the rep from the ruling party. I do like his father’s comic timing but I would have appreciated it if her were in the entertainment industry rather thanpolitics. The language he uses is good for Bigg Boss but they already have Salman Khan (and I am the biggest fan of the show after Gauhar). I see the Heir following the same path plus, the corporator here is kind-of-close and yet, we couldn’t help our cause.
The national party, well I had a lot of expectations from PM uncle but I see the clowns that their rep in the old city is. And the way the lockdown was handled, I had better ideas PM uncle.
And the third party… well, to busy chilling in Goa.
Now that I don’t have a good enough reason and have understood that all three parties are the same, I am basing it on a different criteria. I have been PMSing and was having constant mood swings for a week now, so I decided that my vote would go to the person who came to my door and faced my wrath and only one did!
I asked him to show his face after elections and never come for campaigning :p but I will vote for him though because they did help me vent out my anger.
PS: I have no idea about the other parties fighting election!
Plus this blog contains my opinions that I have decided to shove here. Other’s have opinions so they can do it somewhere else.
