Ever since Josh Talks uploaded my video online, I have been receiving a lot of DMs and messages that I have inspired them a lot and they just loved how confident I am. We’ll I am not showing off or trying to be humble about it but, yeah I never knew that I was inspirational. I have never considered myself as an inspiration.
There has always been one question –
Does sitting in a wheelchair make me inspirational?
I posted a WhatsApp status asking people the same question and the answers I got really made my day
So here are a few responses I got
Anonymous: I look up to you because you take the problem with a pinch of salt, because you never cared about the disease but you have been living it much better than the rest of us.
Vijayata: Mayank and me discussed..he said Sahithi is such a goid writer and always provide quality..no matter how much time it takes for her to type and research..then y can't others do the same...I replied coz she is mentally strong and know what is right..while others do not!!
Vijayata: So u r an inspiration for ppl those who are not on wheelchair but still disable mentally and provide crap work
This was from a colleague. We have known each other for little more than a couple of months now and we never had a real conversation before this. Her message was unexpected and heart melting. But you know what? She’s my inspiration, freelance writing is much tough, its not like the 9-5 job where you can easily switch roles. But her job as a housewife is beyond that! She works beyond human hours, cooks for the family, takes care of her kid and also manages work… and she thinks I am an inspiration :D
Kavi: Love you so much Sahithi I saw you were controlling your tears while explaining those things I am very sorry that we can't do any thing for you dear but you are the most inspiration personality dear keep it up and Congratulations for the things which you have started😘😘😘😘
Kavi: I ever observed that you suffer like this but God bless you and give strength in all the ways of your life.
This is from a cousin who has seen me grow up complaining about a lot of things but ataxia but who can compete with a mother and a woman who didn’t give up on her dreams and still manages her strict joint family? Isn’t she an inspiration?
Mayank: Aapke struggles aur hard work dekhkr saaf pta chalta hai ki jinki life me problems nhi hai, wo apni life kaise barbaad kr rhe hai. Success chahiye, physically bhi sahi hai par struggles krna nhi chahte kyuki mentally bimaar ho gye hai. Bethe bethe sab kuch chahiye.
Aapko dekhkr lgta hai ki aap wheelchair par hone ke baad bhi itna sab kuch kr skte ho to hum kyun nhi kare. You inspire 💛
This is from my boss who is now my closest friend! He’s the most ethical and empathetic person I know and I can’t deny his opinions! He’s my boss after all! But talk to him at 2 AM and you’ll never find anyone more inspiring.
Shyam: People become inspiring because of their ability to do something despite of their condition and that makes you an inspiration. Not your wheelchair!
Shyam is my god-sent. We met in July last year but he’s like family now and I look up to him for his free spirit that believes in doing good… even to the one who thinks or does bad to you. I sometimes feel that he took birth in the wrong period. He belongs of the times of Ramayana and Mahabarat. So if he says I am an inspiration, I am :D
After these answers, I have two more questions –
1. Am I really an inspiration? If yes why?
2. Am I really an inspiration? Or is it be just people being good to me?
:P Lol, whatever it is, I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing people. Whatever my label is, its all because of these amazing people in my life.

Your each word had a story in it. Each sentence spoken by you was full of knowledge and experience. The best thing I learnt from you is never stop working.
